NEW CHARGES

October 2, 2023

  • Michael T. Robinson, 42, Galesburg, was charged with class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance.

  • Michael T. Watkins, 34, Galesburg, was charged with class 2 felony possession of a stolen firearm, class 3 felony possession of a firearm by a felon, and class 4 felony aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

October 3, 2023

  • Quennel T. Augusta, 47, Galesburg, was charged with class X felony mfg/delivery of cocaine/15-100 grams and class 1 felony cocaine possession/15-100 grams.

October 6, 2023

  • Casey R. Buffum, 39, Galesburg, was charged with class 3 felony meth possession under 5 grams, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a revoked license.

  • Brian L. Swise, 57, Galesburg, was charged with class 2 felony domestic battery/physical contact/prior.

October 10, 2023

  • Adrian Bailey, 28, Galesburg, was charged with class 3 felony aggravated battery/public place.

  • Jason T. Snell, 44, Galesburg, was charged with class 1 felony aggravated battery/strangle/great bodily harm.

  • Paul Stingley, 31, Galesburg, was charged with two counts of class 3 felony possession of a firearm by a felon and class 4 felony aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

  • Matthew A. Charles, 25, Galesburg, was charged with class 4 felony resisting an officer.

  • Adam M. Putman, 40, Abingdon, was charged with class 1 felony meth possession/15-100 grams.

  • Dante A. Quick, 20, Galesburg, was charged with class 3 felony forgery.

  • Nicholas D. Bailey, 38, Knoxville, was charged with class 4 felony indecent solicitation of a child.

  • Rebecka M. Wright, 32, Galesburg, was charged with class 3 felony contributing to the delinquency of a minor and class 4 felony criminal damage to property over $500.

  • Jonathan Clubb, 19, Galesburg, was charged with class 4 felony criminal damage to property over $500.

  • Candice D. Engle, 20, Abingdon, was charged with class 3 felony battery/EMT.

  • Earl C. Ragon, 33, Galesburg, was charged with class 3 felony meth possession under 5 grams, misdemeanor driving on a suspended license, and a minor traffic charge.

  • Larry D. Williams, 26, Peoria, was charged with class 1 felony mfg/delivery of cocaine/1-15 grams and class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance.

  • Crystal E. Allen, 39, Milan, was charged with class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance.

  • Mariah J. Armstrong, 31, Galesburg, was charged with class X felony home invasion and class 4 felony domestic battery/physical contact/violating an OP.

  • Mercedes M. Garman, 23, Galesburg, was charged with class 4 felony aggravated DUI/crash/bodily harm.

  • Stanley E. Haun, 63, Henderson, was charged with class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance.

  • Lawrence L. Williamson Sr., 68, Galesburg, was charged with class 3 felony meth possession under 5 grams and class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance.

October 20, 2023

  • Casey D. McGee, 53, Galesburg, was charged with class X felony armed violence and meth delivery over 900 grams, and class 2 felony mfg/delivery of cannabis/500-2000 grams, possession of a stolen firearm, and two counts of class 2 felony possession of a firearm by a felon.

  • Nicholas W. Ogorzalek, 38, Kewanee, was charged with class 3 felony possession of a firearm by a felon and meth possession under 5 grams, and misdemeanor driving on a suspended license.

  • Michael A. Villarreal, 48, Galesburg, was charged with class X felony meth delivery over 900 grams and class 3 felony possession of a firearm by a felon.




WARRANTS SERVED

September 25, 2023

  • Brock L. Noles, 23, Monmouth, was served a warrant on a charge of class 3 felony theft over $500. The charge was filed Sept. 19.

September 29, 2023

  • Larry L. Black Jr., 32, Galesburg, was served a warrant on charges of class 4 felony unlawful restraint and misdemeanor interfering with a report of domestic violence and domestic battery/bodily harm. The charges were filed Sept. 11.

October 5, 2023

  • Amber M. Williams, 36, Galesburg, was served a warrant on a charge of class X felony meth delivery/15-100 grams. The charge was filed Sept. 19.

  • In a second case, Williams was served a warrant on charges of class X felony meth delivery/15-100 grams and class 1 felony meth possession/15-100 grams. The charges were filed Sept. 19.




DISPOSITIONS

October 2, 2023

  • Kohen R. Gibbons, 25, Galesburg, pleaded guilty to class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 24 months probation and 30 hours community service. The court withholds judgment in the case. The charge was filed July 3.

  • Preston S. Whiting, 32, Galesburg, had a charge of class 3 felony possession of a firearm dropped. The charge was filed Sept. 11.

October 3, 2023

  • Darnell M. Britt, 38, Galesburg, pleaded guilty to class 3 felony possession of a firearm by a felon and was sentenced to 7 years in prison/421 days credit. Charges of class X felony attempted murder and class 1 felony aggravated discharge of a firearm were dismissed. The charges were filed Aug. 8, 2022.

  • Alex D. Bushnell, 30, Galesburg, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor criminal damage to property under $500 (reduced from class 4 felony criminal damage to property over $500) and was sentenced to 1 year court supervision and fined. The court withholds judgment in the case. The charge was filed May 15.

  • James G. Erwin, 44, Wataga, pleaded guilty to class 3 felony meth possession under 5 grams and was sentenced to 24 months probation and 30 hours community service. Charges of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license were dismissed. The court withholds judgment in the case. The charges were filed Aug. 9, 2022.

  • Thomas L. Helms, 41, East Galesburg, had a charge of class 3 felony meth possession under 5 grams dismissed. The charge was filed Nov. 10, 2022.

  • In a second case, Helms pleaded guilty to class 3 felony meth possession under 5 grams and was sentenced to 180 days jail/90 days credit and 24 months probation. The charge was filed Jan. 19.

  • In a third case, Helms pleaded guilty to class 2 felony possession of a stolen vehicle and was sentenced to 180 days jail/90 days credit and 24 months probation. Misdemeanor charges of resisting an officer and theft under $500 were dismissed. The charges were filed Mar. 10. 

  • Charles R.S. Metroff, 29, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to class 2 felony burglary and was sentenced to 180 days jail/65 days credit and 24 months probation. The charge was filed Aug. 1.

  • James R. Schofield, 29, Galesburg, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor resisting an officer (reduced from class 4 felony) and criminal trespass to vehicles and was sentenced to 12 months probation. The charges were filed June 20.

  • Ronald W. Shults, 55, Pekin, pleaded guilty to class 3 felony theft over $500 and was sentenced to 18 days jail/9 days credit and 18 months conditional discharge. A charge of class 1 felony residential burglary was dismissed. The charges were filed Nov. 24, 2021.

  • Adam H. Wagner, 45, Galesburg, had charges of class 3 felony aggravated battery/great bodily harm and aggravated battery/public place dismissed. The charges were filed Sept. 7.

October 4, 2023

  • Brian L. Brush, 54, Galesburg, had a charge of class 3 felony retail theft over $300 dismissed. The charge was filed Nov. 28, 2022.

  • In a second case, Brush pleaded guilty to class 3 felony theft over $500 and was sentenced to 52 days jail/28 days credit and 2 years probation. The charge was filed Nov. 28, 2022.

  • In a third case, Brush had a charge of class 3 felony retail theft over $300 dismissed. The charge was filed Feb. 3.

  • In a fourth case, Brush pleaded guilty to class 4 felony theft under $500/prior and was sentenced to 56 days jail/28 days credit and 2 years probation. The charge was filed July 10.

  • Erik J. Ingram, 53, Galesburg, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery/physical contact (reduced from class 3 felony aggravated battery/public place) and was sentenced to 28 days jail/14 days credit and 12 months conditional discharge. The charge was filed May 16.

  • Jose C. Lemus, 34, Galesburg, pleaded guilty to class 2 felony meth possession/5-15 grams and was sentenced to 74 days jail/37 days credit and 2 years probation. The charge was filed Sept. 5.

  • Tomas A. Rubio, 20, Galesburg, pleaded guilty to class 4 felony aggravated fleeing and was sentenced to 18 months conditional discharge. The charge was filed Oct. 4, 2022.

  • In a second case, Rubio pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of a firearm by a felon (reduced from class 3 felony). The charge was filed July 25.

  • Destin G. Sundberg, 19, Galesburg, pleaded guilty to class 3 felony burglary and was sentenced to 3 years in prison/105 days credit. The charge was filed Aug. 23, 2022.

  • In a second case, Sundberg had charges of class X felony meth possession/400-900 grams and meth delivery/400-900 grams and class 2 felony armed violence dismissed. The charges were filed May 1.

  • In a third case, Sundberg pleaded guilty to class 3 felony aggravated battery/public place and was sentenced to 3 years in prison/105 days credit. The charge was filed July 11.

  • In a fourth case, Sundberg pleaded guilty to class 3 felony meth possession under 5 grams and was sentenced to 3 years in prison/85 days credit. The charge was filed July 11.

  • Erin E. Vancil, 44, Kewanee, pleaded guilty to class 3 felony meth possession under 5 grams and was sentenced to 2 years in prison/24 days credit. Charges of misdemeanor criminal trespass/residence and criminal trespass to vehicles were dismissed. The charges were filed Aug. 14.

October 11, 2023

  • Douglas J. Craft, 55, Galesburg, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor domestic battery/physical contact (reduced from class 4 felony) and sentenced to 28 days jail/17 days credit. A charge of class 4 felony domestic battery/prior was dismissed. The charges were filed Sept. 11.

  • Jaylah M. Hardrick, 19, Galesburg, pleaded guilty to class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance (reduced from class 1 felony possession of ecstasy/15-200 pills) and was sentenced to 2 years probation and 100 hours community service. A charge of class X felony mfg ecstasy/15-200 pills was dismissed. The court withholds judgment in the case. The charges were filed June 20.

  • Julian P. Menke, 40, Galesburg, pleaded guilty to class 2 felony aggravated domestic battery/strangle and was sentenced to 44 days jail/22 days credit and 36 months probation. The charge was filed Sept. 18.

  • Jennifer A. Pierson, 33, Sauk Village, pleaded guilty to class 3 felony bringing cannabis into a penal institution and was sentenced to 4 days jail/2 days credit, 2 years probation, and 30 hours community service. The court withholds judgment in the case. The charge was filed Aug. 9.

  • Ethan Susin, 22, Centerville, Iowa, pleaded guilty to class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 24 months probation and 30 hours community service. The charge was filed Sept. 5.

October 12, 2023

  • Andrew J. Roberson, 27, Maquon, pleaded guilty to class 3 felony aggravated battery/child under age 13/bodily harm and was sentenced to 65 days jail/65 days credit and 24 months probation. Charges of class 2 felony aggravated domestic battery, two counts of misdemeanor domestic battery/bodily harm and 2 counts of misdemeanor child endangerment were dismissed. The charges were filed Aug. 9.

  • In a second case, Roberson pleaded guilty to class 3 felony aggravated battery/child under age 13/bodily harm and was sentenced to 65 days jail/65 days credit and 24 months probation. The charge was filed Aug. 9.

  • Shane L. Whitman, 37, Galesburg, pleaded guilty to class 4 felony grooming and was sentenced to 1 year in prison/118 days credit. A charge of class 1 felony indecent solicitation of a child was dropped. The charges were filed June 20.

October 13, 2023

  • Jay R. McMaster, 65, Galesburg, had a charge of class 3 felony aggravated DUI dismissed. The charge was filed Aug. 22, 2022.

  • Kamari J. Morris, 27, Galesburg, had charges of class X felony home invasion and misdemeanor domestic battery/physical contact dropped. The charges were filed Oct. 12, 2022.

  • Colby A. Murphy, 28, Galesburg, had charges of class 2 felony aggravated domestic battery/strangle and misdemeanor domestic battery/bodily harm dropped. The charges were filed May 24.

  • Nathan A. Shea, 40, Knoxville, had a charge of class 4 felony theft under $500/prior dropped. The charge was filed Apr. 19.

  • Jason R. Tiedemann, 30, Galesburg, had a charge of class 4 felony violating an order of protection dropped. The charge was filed May 15.

  • In a second case, Tiedemann had a charge of class 4 felony violating an order of protection dropped. The charge was filed May 15.

  • In a third case, Tiedemann had a charge of class 4 felony criminal trespass to residence dropped. The charge was filed June 20.
