David L. Kerner, 65, Galesburg, was charged with class 3 felony aggravated battery/public place and meth possession under 5 grams, and misdemeanor criminal damage to property under $500 and resisting an officer.

Jesse J. Eldridge, 38, Elmwood, was served a warrant on a class 3 felony charge of kidnapping/deceit or enticement. The charge was filed Apr. 13.

Brandon L. Dawson, 37, Canton, pleaded guilty to class 3 felony meth possession under 5 grams and was sentenced to 96 days jail/48 days credit and 18 months conditional discharge. A charge of class 2 felony mfg/delivery of cannabis/500-2000 grams was dismissed. The charges were filed Apr. 10.

Jesus Delacruz Jr., 37, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to class 4 felony domestic battery and was sentenced to 12 months conditional discharge. Charges of class 4 felony criminal damage to government property under $500, and two counts of class 4 felony domestic battery were dismissed. The charges were filed Apr. 12.
In a second case, Delacruz pleaded guilty to class 4 felony domestic battery and was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months prison/45 days credit. Charges of class 4 felony criminal damage to government property under $500 and misdemeanor battery/physical contact, violating an order of protection, and violating pretrial release were dismissed. The charges were filed Apr. 17.
Raul O. Lopez, 43, Waukegan, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and was sentenced to 2 years court supervision. A charge of class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance was dismissed. The court withholds judgment in the case. The charges were filed Jan. 25.
Jacob W. Schleich, 41, Galesburg, pleaded guilty to class 4 felony domestic battery and was sentenced to 90 days jail/42 days credit and 18 months probation. A charge of class 2 felony aggravated domestic battery/strangle was dismissed. The charges were filed Apr. 20.
